The Rebel Leader & His Army Ophis is the proper name of the Ooranian having charge over the Sher’rosuu and orchestrating or influencing Terran rebellion against the King. The name is taken from the Hellenist tongue recorded in the ancient book of The Revealing. Aru’Vahl, the last Terran King, and Ophis are closely linked in Royalism, with Aru’Vahl acting as a vassal of Ophis. Ophis was part of the leadership caste of Ooranos—the planetary realm of Isa. Citing The Books, Isian fablers teach that Ophis led a group of Ooranians in a coup to take control of Ooranos. When the coup failed, Isa banished Ophis and his group from Ooranos. Determined to free himself from all vestiges of his former identity and to create a realm for those exiled, Ophis renamed his Ooranian rebels the Sher’rosuu ("the banished") and resettled on Terra. Though fablers believe Ophis resides on Terra, his existence is maintained on a different dimensional plane, apart from Terrans, preventing most people from detecting or believing in his existence. |
